How do I update to the latest firmware?

Solution 1: Online Update (Recommended) 

Note: Please keep the device in charging while updating.

Step 1: Power on your IRIS. Make sure it is connected to your WiFi network, is fully charged & plugged in during the update

Step 2: Select the  Settings-->Advanced Settings icon, then go to Display. If you see a ‘Sleep' option there, make sure your IRIS is set to ‘never sleep’.

Step 3: Go back to the settings menu. Select ' System Update'.

Step 4: Select the ' Check Update' option & follow the on-screen instructions.

If the online update is not working properly, please try the offline solution.

Solution 2: Offline Update

Step 1. Format a MicroSD card to FAT32, and create a new folder in it, folder name MUST be : dload

Step 2. Download the update file to your PC from this link:

When it is completed, copy the file into the dload folder of MicroSD card . Note: Please DO NOT unzip the file!

Step 3. Insert the card into IRIS and power on. Navigate to Setting ->System Update, click " Offline Update ". System will check and upgrade automatically. Make sure the battery of IRIS is more than 40% full or you can just leave USB power cable plugged during the upgrading.

Step 4. When the update is completed (about 5 minutes), system will restart automatically and you will have the latest version firmware in IRIS. Note: Please DO NOT manually restart the device during updating.
